History

DePaul Women’s a Cappella has always been a student-run organization at DePaul. Born in 2004, just seven short years ago, DWaC has become a recognized and fully formed group. It began with five passionate students that had an intimate relationship with music and wanted to share their talent with the student body. By 2006, DWaC had increasing numbers at auditions and began to perform more regularly on campus.  Within the past two years, DWaC has truly expanded and is continuing to increase its activeness on and off campus.
